12 week old formula fed - how much did your LO have?

How much were your formula fed babies drinking at 3 months old?

My nearly 12 week old has been having 5oz every 4 hours (5 feeds a day). He feeds at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and 11pm (when I go to bed). He has slept through the night since he was 5 weeks old. Lately I have noticed more of a routine with his naps and his bedtime is naturally now falling earlier around 7:30-8pm which means I wake him up for the last feed at 11pm. I’ve noticed the last few nights he doesn’t want to wake up and will only take 1-2oz of the last bottle, meaning he’s not getting as much milk. Last night he was soo tired, I put him to bed at 8pm and he’s slept through til 7:15 when I woke him up. (He probably would have gone longer!). I’m thinking of increasing his 4 daytime feeds to 6oz to compensate for dropping the 11pm bottle - does this sound like he’s getting enough for his age?

His weight gain has been fine. It did slow a little bit as he has reflux but is now on Omeprazole which is helping and his weight gain is back on track. This also makes me a little anxious to increase his feeds as I don’t want to make the reflux worse.

I never measured just put bottle in mouth until they had enough
if weight gain is good i would trust him to eat when he’s hungry
i used reflux sensitive formula it’s more expensive and i don’t know if it really did any good ?

if he us content and growing then he is fine try not to fret
but obviously consult a HV if you have concerns

Thanks @pimplebumits soo hard to know what to do for the best. My HV is happy for me to increase when I think he’s ready but my GP says I’m over feeding and making the reflux worse!

Have also tried various different formulas reflux & comfort (as was constipated - dirty nappies every 4-5 days) but am now on the normal hipp organic which does seem to agree with him and is now having dirty nappies every other day if not daily
