Hi there, I have attached pics below! I’m urgently in need of some advice on what I should do next and if what my baby is experiencing is normal after starting a EHF formula or not. My baby started on SMA althera which is a EHF formula for suspected CMPA. By the end of the first week the rash on his face had disappeared and he had increased the amount of milk he was drinking at each feed. I don’t know if this is a clear indication that he does indeed have an allergy to cows milk protein but now we are on the second week of trialing this formula on him and his face rash has came right back . It will be 2 weeks on Saturday. Now I am confused as to what I should do?? Should I continue on this EHF milk for another 2 weeks to complete the recommended 2-4 weeks trial period? Or should I contact my GP and let them know that the rash has came back again? Also can someone please tell me if it’s normal for a rash to completely clear up on the EHF formula and to then also come right back? Will it clear up again or do I need to push for an amino acid formula?? And I’m not sure if this is important or not but the rash on his neck only faded but didn’t disappear with the EHF formula, only the rash on his face disappeared for a few days.

Hi please protect your child's privacy and crop the top part of their face.

Hope you find a solution.

Hi yes I didn’t realise because of how stressed I’ve been. I don’t know how I can edit or remove the picture. Is there any way to do it?

I’ve reported it op, MN should come along and remove the pic shortly or contact you to confirm you want to remove it.

I would contact the GP again for advice, I hope things improve quickly Flowers

Hiya, OP. We can't crop pics for you so we've removed the photo from your OP - feel free to repost a cropped version on the thread as a post, if you like.
