My daughter has suffered with silent reflux since birth. On the 5th March I had her tongue tie cut (50%) but since then I have seen no improvement with reflux or feeding.
I know it can take weeks for anything to improve, but I feel like it's almost getting worse ( pre cut she used to be able to suck my finger but now she won't do it at all)
We're doing the oral exercises multiple times a day and I have tried various bottles and teets for her - maam are the only ones she can drink from without choking but her latch is awful. After every feed I have to watch her constantly swallowing the milk in her throat and then choking to the point where she looks like she's about to die and it's honestly getting so stressful. We have seen an osteopath a few times however she's told us there has been a little improvement with the tension during our sessions. She also has another issue with her neck which I think is possibly causing a lot of tension and until that goes I don't think an osteopath will be able to do muchx we are also under nhs physio. She also has a high pallete which doesn't help things.
Does anyone have any tips on what we can do? I really don't want to go down the drugs but I feel like this might be our only option. 😢 currently considering carobel.
Thanks x
