When did you buy your baby’s first proper pair of shoes?

When they started reliably walking

You can get early walker shoes (can’t remember exactly what they’re called) in Clark’s and obviously they’ll accurately measure little ones’ feet too

When they’d been properly walking for about a month. They were the soft sole ‘cruiser’ types. Before that, we just kept them from walking around outside much, or at nursery, they’d put them in 2 layers of socks with a nappy bag between to keep feet warm and dry until they were ready for shoes.

When it started getting cold/wet and they wanted to walk outside. Before that we had the dotty fish/inch blue type shoes (our were actually from minifeet, lots of places do them).
