CMPA RASH

Please can someone tell me how long it took for their LO’s allergy rash to fade after starting an EHF or amino acid formula for CMPA. I started my LO on it on Saturday as per GP’s recommendation however the rash hasn’t seemed to fade yet.

My son never had a CMPA rash so don't have any personal experience of that but if you have Facebook, there are quite a few CMPA support groups with some really knowledgeable mums that will hopefully be able to answer your question. From recollection, there's a fairly typical timeline for symptoms to resolve, with immediate comfort often resolving within a few days and nappies becoming normal at about 10/12 weeks which, from recollection, is the last symptom to resolve. I imagine rashes will fall somewhere in between and hopefully isn't too far away for your baby. Sorry I couldn't be any more help.
