Chicken leftovers toddler lunch

I made a stew type meal last night for dinner using chicken sausages. There was leftovers which I then put in a Tupperware to cool down. Hubby forgot to put said leftovers in the fridge once cooled but for some reason put them in the fridge this morning.

my folks are watching my toddler today whilst I’m working and they’ve told me he ate the chicken stew for lunch (they microwaved it first)

im so irritated at my hubby for putting it in the fridge this morning when he should have just chucked it and we go on holiday on wed including a flight so could not be a worse time for a toddler to have potentially an upset stomach! Ugggghh

It will be fine.

Assuming it was piping hot when microwaved it’ll likely be fine.

More than likely fine, it was cooked less thab 24 hours ago and stored in the fridge for part of that time.
And if its not you'll know well before Wednesday!

No dodgy tummy from the wee fella yet so fingers crossed!

I wouldn't worry.

Of course it will be fine if it was reheated properly. How do you think people managed before everyone had fridges?!

It was quite a cold night last night as well.

I honestly do this often, and never been unwell!
