Pinwheel smartphones for kids

Anyone have any experience with pinwheel smartphones for kids? I was recommended this from someone at work but it's so expensive and not sure if it's worth the money? Any real life reviews would be very much appreciated, I don't know anyone in real life who's bought one.

The Xplora looks good. I'm also thinking of this as it seems a lower cost similar alternative to the pinwheel.

Hello

I bought the Pixel for my daughter about 3 weeks ago. We are not able to send or receive picture messaging. I'm still in touch with PW about it. A few days ago, the online caregiver portal on my home computer stopped working. Today the app has stopped working.

Anyone had any issues?

I don’t have pleasant experience with pinwheel when it comes to tracking location. It doesn’t update often even with good wifi connection(every 30 mins). Thats absolutely useless and no clue how they can monitor the safe zones and notify you if they go out of safe zone. Might be better to use AirTag even though that also updates less often but much more frequent than pinwheel and much cheap without sim

You should also check out Wingio, a UK-based hardware solution that helps keep children’s phones safe and is supported by excellent UK customer service. It’s worth comparing - MyWingio.
