Toddler DD, teeth, ears, struggling so much

DD is 2 in August and she’s suffered from repeated ear infections. We have an appointment with the ENT. She also really suffers with her teeth.

But I’m struggling so much with her. I know it isn’t her fault and I’m trying to hard to make her as comfortable as possible. But she won’t eat. Yesterday all she had was a few mouthfuls of baked beans. Today she had a bit of boiled egg for breakfast and has refused anything else. She also won’t drink unless it’s in a baby bottle with a teat (before this she had a bottle with a straw and an open cup and was fine with both.)

I feel bad saying this but she’s miserable, whiny, very dramatic, generally grumpy and it’s so draining.

I love her but I’m not enjoying her at the moment!

So she is 18/19 months?

Has she got an infection at the moment, or is she teething?
Have you given her something for the pain.
If she has earache or her teeth hurt, she will be grumpy and not want to eat.
Have you tried ice lollies to help numb the pain, or really cold cucumber sticks/slices of fruit?
Presumably she is still having milk. I wouldn't worry too much about food, just give her what she likes.
Stick with the baby bottle for now - there's no point in trying new things when they're under the weather.
