Hey parents,

so our son who is 5 yrs old gets so so angry at the smallest of things, for example :

  1. his teacher gave us a paper that he needed to write some letters and he made a mistake and when we pointed it out he got super angry and scrunched it all up (we praised him a million times for all the other letters) ,
  2. he wanted to play in the garden and I was quickly putting his school clothes in a pile, I said yes one moment I’m doing this very quickly and we will go but he gets angry and comes and pushes the pile that I just did on the floor. EVERYTHING has to be done straight away with him.
  3. He sat infront of me and turned the book backwards and broke the middle, I said did you just break that book and he simple replied yes and smiled at me (shocking) I took his new car carpet rug off him for 24 hours and he started pointing at me saying you better give it back or I’m saying a bad word/ or I’ll hit you literally threatening!

I’ve tried my best to be a mum who listens, plays, reads books, we talk about our emotions regularly but he still has so much anger.

then every evening he tells me the sweetest things like mum I love you so much your so special to me,l.

any help or guidance one how to handle the aggression/anger in him.

(he even gets nasty and told his dad last night that if he has spotty skin like him when he’s older he will kick himself in the face, all this because his dad has to help him with school reading)
