This morning I took my 3 year old for his vaccinations, he obviously wasn't happy with the first needle but I was holding him still, when she pulled the needle out she said that a lot of it had come out onto her hand so she would need to do it again (!!) so he ended up having 2 injections in one arm and 1 in the other, I had to pin him to me to keep him still and he was absolutely inconsolable for ages afterwards. The nurse seemed to take so long to inject the stuff in and with the last one I heard a noise that sounded like air coming out and she said oh but didn't say anything was wrong but now I'm worrying that he didn't get the full dose of the one either!
I thought they were quick at getting them in but not this time!
Everyone I've spoken to says their kids were fine but it was really traumatic for us both!
Should I ring the surgery and explain what happened? Complain?
The same nurse is doing my babys vaccinations next week and I'm dreading it even more now ðŸ˜
