Congratulations! Mine are adults now, but I had a similar age gap. Get the first one out of nappies ASAP, don't get a double buggy, you won't need it for long enough, but mine had that little kind of foot board that attached to the buggy and my two year old loved riding that whilst waving at the baby! Put the toddler down now for every playgroup in the area so you can get some rest. If you haven't joined any mum and baby groups yourself, do that when baby comes along because you will find a friend who has two the same age, then you can help each other out! If you want paid childcare, rock up to the local college where they train and and put a notice up for some help; that's how we found the lovely young woman who came and helped me a couple of afternoons a week. We are still friends, and she has her own young family now!

38 weeks pregnant with a toddler here. Yet to find anything which makes it easier that isn't a screen or roping in extra grandparent care.

Best advice I can give is to be kind to yourself and just do whatever makes the days a bit easier, even if it's not aligned to your usual parenting style. It's a short term thing and you can correct it all later :-)
