Is it uncommon for teething cheeks to be red/rosy for two months?

LO has had rosy cheeks now for 2 months constant. They are very smooth to touch so rules out eczema (imo).

Wondering whether this is normal? 8m old.

I don't know if it's normal, but this could describe my 9mo. Only time they DON'T have scarlet cheeks is when they are coming down with a bug and they go really pale :/

NHS says first top teeth should come in between 6-8 months, bottom teeth came in on time but no sign of top teeth yet!
