Heat rash or eczema? Or something else?

Took DS (10 weeks) to the doc a couple of weeks ago and he said heat rash. But since it’s moved from his neck and upper chest to his arms and torso and it looks a bit like eczema to me now? I’ve been using Baby Aveeno (Dermexa). Nothing on his legs and I’ve moisturised those so I’m guessing not a reaction to it.

We’ve definitely struggled with controlling temp though. DS also has reflux so prefers to be upright, and what with running after my toddler too, the carrier is easiest, but it’s not ideal due to body warmth. I’m constantly removing and adding layers but still. 🫠 What do you think? Worth a repeat trip to the doc?

Hi my baby was the exact same, runs warm so i stopped putting a vest under clothes but I soon noticed Aveeno was making it worse! We switched to MooGoo and it cleared up instantly. We now use MooGoo all the time and touch wood baby has been fine except for when sick we had a little flare up for a day or two, but this was prob due to the infection and temperature.

Thanks. We’ve definitely got rid of vests! Hadn’t heard of moogoo so will look it up 👍

No problem, we used the sensitive skin balm to clear it up and we now use the full cream moisturiser every evening or after baths. We also only use the shower gel and nothing else. I hope it works for you too!
