Not chicken pox

Chicken pox has found its way to my LO’s nursery class.

She came home with a rash that looked like eczema on her legs on the same day and some spots here and there. I wasn’t sure but put eczema cream and gave her antihistamines as it looked like a reaction to something.

It’s not developed into chicken pox.

This is my first child. Does chicken pox ever just try to appear but not quite make it?

Silly question it would seem but thought I’d ask anyway

Yes you can get mild cases. It's also got an incubation period of up to three weeks, maybe you're already clear of that.
