Hair type. Wavy or not?

Is this actually wavy hair? My 2 1/2 year olds hair seems to be getting wavier and wavier when wet but then dries to almost straight, just with a kink to the ends.
Just to add, not bothered either way, just want to care for it as best I can. I've got wavy, verging on curly hair but eldest DD has straight so we're a mixed bunch.

I think if you scrunch the ends and use a little curl cream she'll have a lovely wave to the ends of her hair
