I'm a student mum of 3 - 2 at school, youngest stil in nursery - they are 8, 6, and 4.

recently things have been a bit up and down - jan and feb were crappy when I had a bad reaction to the mirena coil, made me really depressed and ill.

Since I had it removed, dd1 (8) has been dealing with the terminal illness and this week, death of a classmate - he had a brain tumor. Ds is at the same school and thankfully is dealing with it OK - but he didnt knwo the boy as well as dd1 did.

Dd2 has been diagnosed with a hip problem - Perthes disease - which should resolve on it s own over 18 months but in the meantime no running, jumping, restricted walking, more swimming than I am normally up for! She got a large buggy this week which helps.

Then yesterday she came out in chickenpox (the others have already had) and so I am in a swivet - cant miss any more classes at college (due to finish up my degree in a few weeks) but dh is working and its hard for a single handed GP to take time off ......

Its just motherhood and all that goes with it. But I was kind of hoping for a bit of sympathy, as am feeling stressed beyond my ability to cope!!!
