Toddler hit newborn on head - should I be worried?

Hi everyone,

I was breastfeeding my 10 day old newborn with my 20 month old jumping on sofa next to me. My toddler then went to jump into her bottom when the back of her arm (tricep) landed on my newborns forehead. I didn't see it but my partner reassured me it was not really hard but she was definatly hit.

My newborn didn't cry, lose consciousness or even have a mark. I don't want to take her to hospital everytime something like this happens because this is bound to happen with toddlers all the time. I have OCD so difficult for me to use my logical brain. What you would you logical mums out there do? Medical advice or just keep an eye on symtpoms (although she has none currently).

Many thanks x

I think you've covered the main things, so I wouldn't be worried.

My toddler manages to accidentally hurt the newborn pretty much every day… unless the baby is screaming and cannot be calmed, I wouldn’t worry about it. They are very hardy

I'm pretty sure that's hand foot and mouth!
