Baby is 8m old and has been poorly for 5 days now.
started with very smelly urine. Has had a UTI before and smelt similar to that so trip to the gp, urine sample sent off and antibiotics (trimethoprin) given to start immediately and potentially stop again if test result came back clear.

urine not smelling now. But since has become extremely congested, nose streaming, temperature and vomiting Thursday evening for a couple of hours. Back to gp, checked over. Throat slightly sore, ears clear, no concern.

perked up Friday, but started having looser stools. I put this down to antibiotics causing tummy upset.

he’s still full of snot, happy enough in himself, but having 1-2 really explosive runny nappies per day which also contain mucus and some solid stool which is v pale in colour.

quick google of this has me now worrying about liver problems?

sorry for the tmi photo, but I’m not sure if this is something anyone has experienced before? Urine sample still not back!

Unlikely but can you send GP A picture of the poo?
