hi all, this is my first pregnancy and I’m just curious as to what I’m looking at.
I had my 9 week scan yesterday, doctor said everything looked good at the heartbeat was good but I can’t see any limbs or make out anything/tell what is what on the scan? I’ve seen a few 9 week scans and they all seem a lot more developed, what are your thoughts? Thank you!

Don’t worry op, sometimes the baby is just positioned in a way that the imaging can’t pick up arms or legs, my 9 week scan was the first transabdominal scan I’d had and I was so disappointed at how indistinct the image was compared to transvaginal scans which were much clearer (ivf pregnancy so lots of uncomfortable scans).

Okay that makes me feel a bit better, hopefully all is okay!

@Sophianewton mine was the same, looked very un baby liked compared to others but how they're positioned makes all the difference! They very much looked like a baby at 12 weeks 😃
