Toddler separation anxiety

Hi everyone,
My DS is 3 in March and has been going to nursery since he was 2.5 years old. He attends nursery 2 days a week and still gets upset when we drop him off. He seems to have separation anxiety or attachment issues maybe. Is this normal? Do we need to seek help from somewhere?
We were at the park about 3 months ago where he refused to wear his coat, hat and walk with me, I said to him "I'm going then if you're not coming" I feel awful I've caused some of it.
TIA

I don't think it's unusual or anything to worry about. My DD was always like this - nursery were very understanding and would let me stay with her for a while until she was calm and willingly separated to a trusted care worker or to play.
Transitions can be hard for toddlers and it's not surprising they don't really want to leave you.
