Layers under baby star wrap?

What layers does your baby wear under their star wrap (like Claire de Lune ones) when out on walks in the pram? Conscious about overheating baby or him being cold! He's currently in normal inside clothes plus a pram suit and hat when we go out, with the pram cover, but want to try the wrap to make the transition into shops and cafes (and home when he's fallen asleep) easier!

Whatever I want baby to be in when we get indoors, plus hat. I use my star wrap for days when the pram suit is too much. I often have the pram foot muff on the top.
