My LO wakes up at 5am wanting milk and not going back to sleep until an hour later, I dont know how to reduce night feeds as he has them twice a night. He usually goes to sleep between 7:30-8pm has his first night feed at 1am and then at 5am. By the time he goes back to sleep which can take up to hour and half my toddler is awake. He has 6oz feeds during the day so I know he’s getting enough milk but the night feeds are still happening ,any suggestions please x

Honestly lower your expectations and ride it out.

Sleep is forever changing.

And overall the sleep sounds fine and normal coud be alot more wake ups.

Your only other option is to see whether you can push the 1am feed to 2am and see if that pushes the 5am feed forward.

At this age, my baby would take a 7oz bottle at 7pm and then want breastfeeding at 2am, 5am and 7am. Going from 1-5am after a longer initial sleep sounds normal to me, even for formula feeding.
