So my Dd is 3 Yrs old she can talk but alot of people struggle to understand her me inculed she can do 2 word sentences, she can understand 3- 4 word sentences too. She's also on the wait list for autism and adhd assessment

She can't have intensive speech therapy she's to active and struggles to focus. Speech therapist want her to do a play based speech therapy thing to she if that will do or at least teach her some focus for intense speech therapy (I OK with that) she also suggested I look into AAC for her but I feel that the information is for older kids (school aged) it's not easy to understand and evpensive to setup for her

I would prefer pecs, it's more affordable less driven my tech, there's more science behind it too

Dd is discharged from speech therapy as they can't help her at the moment, but they my call her back for AAC if they can get her in, so I'm basically on my own for this to learn maybe with help from nursery

Any advice on where to start learning about aac? My Dd is ready to jump in at lv3 if that helps
