Would like to get some effective parenting tools under my belt as feel everything I’m doing is wrong and I’m just getting frustrated, annoyed and being a moany mum.

There’s so many resources it can be overwhelming so any recommendations from fellow parents with toddlers that they found insightful as a place to start?

Would love to be a calmer, less reactive parent for my nearly 3 year old and learn to handle difficult behaviours better.

Anna Marthur does a nice podcast which is usually both helpful and short.
Then Parenting Hell from the start - not tips but good to normalise that parenting can be hard and funny and all the emotions at once and that’s ok

I can’t recommend any podcast but my biggest tip is to explain everything that will be happening and behaviour expectations eg we’re go to the shop and I need you hold my hand. We aren’t buyings toys today.
