Likelihood of toddler puking...

I was up all last night with a vomiting toddler. I know I'm being ridiculous, cos I can't control it... But it's been about 16 ish hours since she was last sick. What's the likelihood we are in the clear now? I'd love to be able to sleep tonight, but I'm feeling really anxious that we will get a repeat of last night.

I know no one can say for sure. But I'd love to reduce my fizzy brain a bit!

Is she holding food/water down for a good period of time. That's usually a good sign.

I'd say it's very unlikely you'll have another night of vomiting.

We've had bugs before where they've been sick, had a couple of days of being ok, and then randomly vomited again - maybe after eating a bit too much on a still sensitive stomach or something.

So since her last vomit at 430am this morning, she's had some toast, fruit and a smaller than normal dinner and it's all stayed in. One nasty nappy around lunch time (but I can deal with those)

Thank you! Yes, I took her dinner off her when she let out a little burp because I didn't want her to enter into a cycle of vomiting again because her tummy must be sore.
