4 month regression

My almost 5 month old is waking up every hour on a night occasionally we will get 2 hours if we are lucky. This has been going on for almost a month.

I have been doing the pick up and put down method for all her naps and bedtimes which is going really well and she appears to be self settling.

When she wakes on a night she is very frustrated and looks to be trying to roll over (she can roll both ways during the day). Even when I take her out of the cot she is crying and will not settle unless I feed her (appears to be more for comfort than her actually feeding).

Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do? She is currently exclusively breastfed.

I don't have any advice but offering a handhold. It can last a while. Do what works for you, if thats feeding back your sleep so everyone is back in bed quicker then stick with that for now. This too shall pass.

I was alwsys wanting bf to get back to sleep as soon as possible so would feed them, if they meant we'd both get some sleep.

How's her daytime sleep? Is she getting enough calories in during the day?

And is she getting outside each day? There's a proven link between daylight and good nighttime sleep Wink

She sleeps for around 40 mins at least 3 times a day and settles her self to sleep in the day. I feel like these naps needs to be longer but there is no getting her back to sleep!

She goes out every day with me to walk the dog so gets fresh air at least once a day!

If you want to try and lengthen the naps you could always try the No Cry Nap Solution and if work on getting the most calories you can into her during the day, if that's offering a feed every 2 hours I'd try that Flowers
