Antibiotics in milk

The only way my toddler will take medicine is in milk, but I've seen you should have them on an empty stomach and not with dairy. Anyone know how bad this actually is? Not sure how else to get him to take them though

If it says with empty stomach, ideally you shouldn’t give them with milk because they won’t be absorbed properly. Honestly, it was a two person pinning down job with promise of a treat after. Not nice, but must be done. My ds had Lyme Disease (which was 3 weeks of antibiotics), but really important that he got them to prevent long term complications.

Different antibotics and different instructions so check the instructions for the ones he is taking.

Well yes it says empty stomach but if we try to pin him down he just spits it back out. Have tried everything!
