Eczema + toddler + chalks

Wondering if anyone has come across chalks for using on a chalk board that are eczema friendly? My 2yo's eczema flares when he comes into contact with chalk dust and he is missing out at nursery 😞 just wondered if anyone else has this and can recommend an alternative? Thanks in advance 😊

Maybe those chalk pens which are sort of wet instead of dusty?

But is he really missing out on that much at nursery? Presumably chalk is one of many nursery activities?! Can't they give home crayons and paper instead?

Chalk dust really isn’t great for children with asthma and nearly all schools have done away with using chalk boards for that reason. I would actually have a word with nursery about coming up with another messy play activity and getting rid of the chalks. They really shouldn’t be doing activities that actively exclude a child when there are so many other options.
