2yo boy birthday present ideas!

My 2nd child is soon turning 2. I feel like they have every toy you could possibly imagine, they are incredibly lucky (and spoilt!). Does anyone have any present ideas for his 2nd birthday which are out of the ordinary that have been loved and well played with.

For my child's 2nd birthday we got friends and family to give us money. Did the same for Christmas following, and then bought a climbing frame for DS. He'll turn 12 in March and I reckon the climbing frame will finally be removed after this summer when he's 12.5/13.

Definitely a balance bike if you don’t have one!

A large inflatable ball for playing catch.

Also extensions of toys you have. My youngest ds has a mountain of wooden train track and accessories, and some battery operated trains (mostly donated by a very kind friend with additional trains we agave purchased over the years).

He’s now 6 and it is still one of the most popular toys on his play dates - they can build really complicated tracks now.

I don’t think the small starter track would have had such a shelf life, but with all the extensions it’s amazing.

My dd played with her Playmobil until she was starting y7 (secretively by that age!) - the same way, the more she had, the more she played.

So maybe fix on a toy he really likes and build up a great collection.

Ideas above are great but also

Magnatiles!

They're great stuck onto a radiator or fridge for making 2D pictures but mostly they get used for 3D houses, barns, palaces, whatever. They're played with every day here at the moment

We have the same problem!

We are getting the rest of the books in a collection that my second absolutely loves, we've got 3 already there's about 4 more to complete the set.

And a bubble machine of some sort. Saw one this weekend that someone had attached to their scooter which looked a cool accessory! Or a bubble camera or... something other bubble making.

We're deliberately not getting extensions of toys we already have because our youngest always seems to end up with "our" toys not ever "their" toys.

Microscooter
Trampoline
Football & pop up net/goals
Annual pass to zoo, soft play type place
Put money into premium bonds - sounds like they already have plenty to play with
