Hi everyone
i just want a bit of advice on best way to brush my 9 month olds teeth?? She used to love it but she just seems to hate it now, will pierce her mouth shut or kick n scream.

Also, the majority of the time shes falling asleep for the night on her last bottle so I’m having to brush her teeth before the last bottle and am worried that this is gonna effect her teeth??

I just took my 7.5minth old to dentist (I know she doesn’t need that but gets her in the nhs pool). Dentist said even just on your finger is fine. Or give her a toothbrush with paste in and she’ll prob put it in her own mouth. I think it’s just getting them used to it for now.

Thank you! She goes mad even if I try and put my finger in her mouth to feel her teeth or just bites me🤣

I’ve been giving her the toothbrush but she just bites that as well bless her. Shes got 6 teeth already, 2 on bottom & 4 on top. Think her mouth is irritating her because shes even refusing to be spoon fed most of the time now, she’ll only take finger foods that she can feed herself🥲 so hard knowing what is right and wrong x

Have you tried a ‘U’ shaped toothbrush, OP? There’s electric ones too. Helped massively when my kids went through this stage as babies.
