My little 3 month old is getting over bronchiolitis. He had one trip up to A&E where they just said he's doing okay with it and sent us home. Today is the first day that he's seemed like he's recovered, because his wheezing is totally gone and is barely coughing. Feeding also good. But my god I have never known a more miserable baby. He wasn't this miserable when he was wheezing, in fact he was happy and playful and slept well. Last night he spent the early hours screaming his head off with no let-up, like 3am-6am. He slept a lot today but was reasonably happy when awake. Then this evening he screamed his head off after about 5, had a bedtime feed and then screamed himself to sleep, and screamed his head off when we moved him into the cot and he had to come out again. Then he screamed a bit more. Now asleep. Breathing sounds great! What the hell is wrong with him??
