Sickness bugs. How long....

... do you normally think it takes to spread between family members and you're in the clear?

My son was sick in my car on Sunday.
He wasn't sick after but had a cold and temp for couple days. He's fine now (thank god!!).

I suffer greatly from meta phobia, this is my worst nightmare 🙈
I'm worried about whether my other son and I (who were in the car) will come down with it. When would you typically think you're in the clear? Online it says 48 hours but in the past it's normally up tk a week!

I've bleached everything, but I can't keep up with the bleaching now!

I know I'm over reacting. I'm also really struggling!

I understand how you feel, and I'm always a bit on edge when one of mine is sick wondering if/when the rest of us will succumb, but if he was only sick once and then went on to have a cold and a termperature perhaps it wasn't a sickness bug? My youngest has been known to vomit just once with a high temperature (and then usually goes on to become very snotty and other cold symptoms, but isn't sick again).

Thank you for understanding.
I feel so selfish for being so anxious, but I just can't help it :(
He's not a sicky boy tbh and his temp was the following day. I have no idea what the virus was, but as he was sick I was thinking more likely to be a tummy bug!
I just wish I could switch off from it and stop falling myself I feel sick 🙈

You are probably out the woods now but be extra vigilant with hand washing. Those bugs are the worst.
