Did you use a uv steriliser for mam bottles? Help!

This might be a daft question but I have mam bottles and a tommee tippee uv steriliser.

The bottles are clear with pink at the bottom and at the rim, by the teats.

The instructions say to sterilise coloured bottles for 35 mins and clear bottles for 10.

Do I sterilise the pink parts for 35? Or, as the bottle itself is clear, do people just sterilise all parts for ten minutes?

Thanks

The mam bottles can be sterilised in the microwave that's the beauty of them.

Sorry I'm not sure then, I mainly bf so just had a couple of bottles to express, and didn't want a bulky steriliser, I did have a microwave which made the mam ones ideal. Hopefully someone more useful will be along!

I have the mam bottles with the UV steriliser. I just put all the parts on a 60 minute cycle which dries & sterilises so useful after washing them. I wash them up, let them drain for 10 minutes then give all the parts a good flick then put them in 😊 x

also, if you need to do a 10 minute cycle for time, I have washed, dried & put the whole thing in on the 10 minute cycle in emergencies x

Are you using formula or expressed milk?

If the latter, breast milk is sterile and you don't need to sterilise it (I still did mam bottles), and in that case I wouldn't worry about different temps.
