My baby 7 weeks was prescribed lactose free milk as he had diarrhoea constantly. He also sounds really congested and was abit sick at night but since starting on sma lactose free milk he's being sick alot more, popping 6 times a day and sounds super congested. The milk has made him worse

Lactose intolerance in babies is unusual cows milk protein allergy is more likely. The lactose free formula still has the proteins in. You want a dairy free formula from the GP. The first step is an extensively hydrolysed formula which is broken down dairy which is enough for some babies. Common examples are pepti, nutramigen but there are quite a few available. Sensitive babies will need a completely dairy free formula which just have the components of dairy but no dairy is used. The commonly prescribed formulas are neocate and alfamino.
These formulas can be thinner so might trigger a bit of reflux if given without a thickener
