DD is 3 and I'm looking at ways to improve her fine motor skills as she really isn't into colouring/drawing etc, her nursery do 'dough disco' occasionally and have suggested we could try doing that at home as well if we want to encourage it (they don't think she's particularly behind or that there's a problem).

Does anyone have any good recommendations for YouTube videos or other resources (obviously we have playdough!) we can use at home to do it?

Does she play with Lego? Manipulating the bricks helps fine motor skills. So does threading beads onto laces or through those shapes with the holes in. Cutting with scissors and junk modelling is also good, as is using elastic bands on wooden peg boards.

Dough disco is all over YouTube btw all you need to do is search it.

Google "funky fingers" and look on Twinkl and Instagram - there are loads of activities you can do.
