My car seat

squeaks constantly when driving it is fitted correctly but is this normal ??
also my lo is constantly falling forward in it when they sleep dispite the correct position and insert for their height ??

Is it possible to tilt the seat backwards slightly to stop your little one slipping?

Hard to say - the squeaking could be a moving part, as this seat has a lot of them. Is the leg correctly extended? Sounds likely to be annoying rather than dangerous, but difficult to say without being able to see the install. Could you take a video of it and send it to Cosatto? Or take it back to the shop you got it from to ask them? Does it make the same noise in all positions e.g. if you swap from driver to passenger side or vice versa?

Whatever you do don't be tempted to put WD40 on it or similar, as this is not usually allowed for car seats.

The tilt will depend on your car's rear seat angle - it can be too upright for some children. Double check that the fitting is correct and that it's reclined and consider putting any wedge type insert back in if this is appropriate. But it can be a problem you'll get with a lot of the all-stages type seats.

As far as I’m aware was correctly installed, new cybex seat in now and it makes no noise.

contacted cosatto and they haven’t replied , store I got it from has also closed down 🥲
