I'm a prized p, what do I do?

I have a daughter from a ons that I was never involved with.

She is now 15 we only just met.

I've informed my family (mother, siblings) and have started making amends.

It was a secret I carried as I was young and immature and dealing with my own father's suicide just after her birth (we were never in a relationship).

I am despised within my community and dealing with intense guilt and self-hatred.

I am condemned by many, rightfully so.

What should I do apart from supporting my daughter and being available if she needs support?

Did your daughter or her mother ever try to contact you?

Yes, I was sent pictures and asked a few times by her mother over email but never walked through the door.

Immature.

I think you need to talk to your mum and other close family about how you were affected by your father's death.

Let your daughter's mother know that you are sorry and that you want to try and make up for your past actions. Also tell her about your father.

Why have you decided now to be a part of her life?
