Just found out we are pregnant with our second :) DS is going to be around 3.5-4 when new baby arrives. Would love to hear all your planning tips, preparing toddler for the change, any must haves second time around, excited but also (obviously) slightly anxious! Thanks :)

Bumping for you as also keen to hear others’ experiences! Particularly things people did differently with the second.

Congratulations! Bumping for you as our first will be 19 months by the time our second is born and I could do with all the tips I can get 😂

Congratulations!
I found The Second Baby book helpful.
I had a similar age gap and it helped that my eldest could do some things independently like dressing and going to the toilet.
A sling for the baby is a must imo
Try to carve out 121 time with your eldest when baby is sleeping

We had no visitors the first day we came home to let DD adjust. We just felt having visitors would've been too overwhelming. We bought a present from the baby. We try to give 1to1 time when the baby is sleeping.
