Hi everyone,
my son started in reception last September on the first day his teacher comes to me in front of all parents and started aske me and complain about my child behaviour who only 4 years old
my child he seems to have some signs of ADHD or autism we are waiting for a diagnosis. Lots of hand flapping laughing for no reason running and jumping a lot but he is really big heart boy he loving caring love cuddles and love playing love people. I never seem him aggressive or trying to hurt someone intentionally.
now after her complaint she arranged a meeting and I told her every thing about his situation. They reduced his time table for long time a week before Christmas holidays she said he seem improving and let try having him full time. Then after back to school again (he still 4 years old next week will be turning 5) so after just 4 days of back to school she complain again saying he is not listening and a she giving him time out he is not been allowed to be out to play with other kids as punishment he cried a lot and now again she wants to reduce his time table. Now I did that before to help him but he is messing out on learning and she try to make him aggressive
she told he put his hand on the teacher mouth and said (shut your mouth) we never uses this words at home and I never heard him say it before he put his hands on my mouth and tell me to be quiet if I am talking loud because he doesn’t like loud noises
I just feel there’s no tolerance for him and no even chance to get used to school again
any advice i will really appreciate if anyone going through this at a school what is the right thing to do
I am worried they will knock his confidence down as always he is being told off
