Best nappy rash cream (since metanium)

Can anyone recommend a good nappy rash cream that’s an alternative to the yellow metanium (that cannot be bought now)? My babies bottom is so sore.

The purple weleda worked wonders for my one year old last year. The yellow Weleda is okay but the purple calmed it down in hours. I also started elimination communication with dd when she had her nappy rash which I think really helped her.

My baby had a terrible rash after being on antibiotics. She reacted badly to both Metanium and Sudocrem, and Bepantham was the only thing that would work. I also use Weleda nappy cream for general day to day (smells nice).

When the rash was really bad and she was crying I had nappy-free mornings, which lead to elimination communication and using a potty. We still use this daily and are very careful not to keep her wet too long.

My DS at 8months had antibiotics for ear infection and teiggered nappy rash at the front. We do Elminatiom communication so he doesn't do No.2 in his nappy anyway. BUT the rash appeared at the front in the groin and around the scrotum and lacerwtions appeared on the sac.
We do EC so often twken to the toilet. No wet wipes. We use water and cetraban to wash the area after the toilet and a cotton flannel to dab dry.
We used sudacream which burned and made him scream. Gp gave sterois and canestan and it calmed it but never went away. Came back 2 qeeks later and the pharmacist said to use metanium. The Gp gwve 2% canestan and that hasnt helped and the Metanium burned him and caused Hives and allergic reaction. He was scremaing and in pain i washed off right away and he didnt calm down. Then had an emergency GP apt and given Periton which reduced allergy but back to square one.
I am fed up. Stupid Antibiotics ruined my DS body and now has has a nappy rash for 9 weeks!!!!!! I am fed up the lack of help feom the Drs and Pharmacy. They say do nappy free but as soon as I remove the nappy DS lunges for the area and Scratches like a dog with fleas! What do I do

Metanium is a cursed cream!!! I reported it to Yellow Card Scheme as well as Canestan and the Antibiotics.

if its very bad you may need daktarin cream. lots of nappy off time just lay them out of a towel .But if it really raw best get it checked by a doctor to make sure they dont need daktarin

Weleda calendula nappy cream - amazing stuff!

My DS had terrible nappy rash that wouldn't clear up. My Grandmother recommended that I put egg white on his bottom. It forms a water-proof barrier giving the skin a chance to recover. Worked like magic! 😉
