So some people raise an eyebrow and think it's weird that me, my ex (DD dad) and his new girlfriend who he's been with since my DD was 8 months get on so well.
So me and DD father split as he cheated but we always managed to stay friendly for my daughter. When I say friendly I mean speak regarding my daughter and always have a flexible routine and help one another out. I met his girlfriend and at first I did lay down the ground rules regarding my daughter. She fully respected it and we get in great!!
She's lovely. We all met up with my daughter while my DS was with his dad (me and DS dad do not get in as he is extremely abusive to me) and we made a snow man and had a lovely natter it was really nice. My DD father's GF has not expressed this to be a weird relationship. I hope she doesn't think it is? She's really included and al three of us are really like friends it's nice.
Would you think it's odd? I don't! I think it's great for my daughter to see.
