Hi everyone,
Please can anyone help? I have a 12 week old and she won't go down in her next to me. I settle her when it's nap time or bedtime and she goes to sleep so quickly and well on me. I can't put her in her next to me. She just wakes up as soon as she goes in it. Any one have any tips? It's not fair on her as she just has broken sleep. She will go to sleep around 2am (i dont do anythibg different but for some reason when it gets to 2am, she will sleep)on her own in the next to me but obviously I want it earlier.
Thanks for reading

Hate to be giving awnsers you dont want but this is completely normal mumma, i am 6 months in and baby still exclusively contact naps other than for the last sleep, keep persevering and take shifts with partner where possible! Gradually my babys last sleep got earlier (10pm from 14 weeks and 7.30 pm from 16 weeks)

babies do start going into more deep sleep from 13 weeks ish and less rem sleep which could help the easier transfer, hang in there your doing great!

Very normal! I was breastfeeding and coslept according to the guidelines. Contact/sling naps. Started being able to put down for some naps maybe around 9 months. Just now transitioning to spending some of the night in a cot at 13 months.

Very early days do shifts. I used to go to bed at 9pm, DH would stay up with baby until 1am ish. Then he'd deliver baby to me for cosleeping rest of night and go sleep in spare room.

Both my DCs contact napped until 7mo. DS also coslept until 7mo too after I spent many a sleepless night with DD trying to put her down. It's hard but completely normal and won't be forever. From 7mo both of them started napping on their own and sleeping through in their cot so hang in there.
