8 month old refusing food

My 8 month old has been weaning since 6 months, we started on puree and she would eat with no issues, within the past month she isn't eating anything I give her, I've even tried giving her puree again to see if that's the issue but she will not eat, I've tried just leaving it in front of her and she's just plays. The only thing I can get her to eat are carrot puff melty sticks. Anyone have advice?

Are you offering water between meals? When I started doing that DD stopped having a much milk (she was thirsty not hungry) and this meant she ate her food. She was just filling herself up with milk. I do two meals a day rather than 3. Sometimes it takes her while of playing with the food before she starts eating it. I guess she is just getting used to the texture etc. When she was 6 months she gobbled it up. 8 months felt like a backwards step. Now at 10 months she is doing well again - mostly eating the same as me

Could she be teething because that puts mine right off his food

My son did the exact same at 10m I was so worried. Contacted HV and they said it's completely fine and likely down to teething which it actually was. As long as they're getting the milk it's nothing to worry about
