Sunken soft spot

My little one is 5 months old and has a sunken soft spot. She’s had a cold for the last 4/5 days but is much better today.
She’s always had a slightly concaved soft spot but today I noticed it was significantly more sunken. Obviously I thought of dehydration but she’s doesn’t have any other symptoms of dehydration.

We’ve seen the GP this afternoon and she not worried just put it down to her having a cold and not getting enough fluids although she’s eating well.

Has anyone else had this? If so what was the outcome?
TIA

If she's ok in herself, drinking and weeing, a slightly more sunken soft spot than normal, is of no consequence.
Babies who are ill with dehydration do have a sunken soft spot, you're right, but they also have dry nappies, sunken eyes, and look unwell!
Hope she continues to improve

NB the purées she's having have quite a high water content so she's getting some liquid that way - she'll start drinking again soon, I'm sure!

Sorry should have said, she EBF but I’ve also been ill and it’s time of the month which drops my supply slightly. I’m thinking it’s just a combo of us both being ill and it being my time of the month she just not getting as much milk as she normally would.
