I’m married with two small girls - 5 year old in reception and a 2 (nearly 3) year old in full time nursery. Both me and DH work full time. I’m struggling with the 2 year olds behaviour, mostly at bedtime. She just won’t go down. I start the process at 7pm and still fighting her at 9pm. Our 5 year old isn’t much better but can be reasoned with more. I’m exhausted. I’m not a horrible person, I don’t smack my kids etc but they just don’t respect me at all. Tried everything, bribes, loss of privileges, reward jars, nothing works. She’s such hard work and I’m starting to resent the situation. Any advice? I was told things get easier but no sign yet.
