18 month old morning routine

Hey.

My DS starts nursery next week and I am hoping to establish a morning routine which allows for minimal chaos. My partner is at home to help. We also have a 3 week old baby. Suggestions welcome - how do you start the day with your toddler?

Get as much done the night before as possible- nursery bag packed, work bags packed, packed lunches made, clothes for you and the toddler out and ready to go. Then get up first. Don't get the toddler up until you're ready to sort them out. I try and get up, have a wash/get dressed and have breakfast on the table before I get my toddler up. Then all I have to do is focus on getting them fed/dressed, because I'm all done. Then it's just teeth to do, bags (and kids) in the car and off we go.
