Hard wearing boys school shoes

DS is 7 and whilst preparing for him to go back to school again, I've spotted he has got holes in the soles in the third pair of school shoes since September 🤦‍♀️

Can someone recommend some hard wearing school shoes for a very rambunctious and active kid?

He is a very typical young boy, so they need to be able to handle some serious wear and tear for more than a bloody month!

Doc Marten’s in our house. Take a bit of wearing in.

Startrite Rhino they are the only ones that have lasted longer than a few weeks here. After a whole term they look brand new.

I love DMs but not been keen since they moved from being made in Northampton. Quality just isn't the same anymore.
