Hi all

my little boy is nearly 2 and so far hasn’t really been poorly besides from the many colds and runny nose etc.

he was fine yesterday then started vomiting all night so was awake a lot and had a disturbed sleep.

normally awake 7am, nap 12.30/1 for 2 hours then bed is at 8/8.30 and he sleep through.

we woke up at 8am today as he was up a lot in the night. He still isn’t well but not vomiting. He won’t let me put him down and seemed shattered. He has fallen asleep on my now and having a contact nap.

what do I do re schedule? Offer a little nap this afternoon too?

Let him sleep, it's his bodies way of getting better. He may be out of routine for a few days but it will go back to normal.

Let him sleep as much as possible, whenever he wants. Rest is how we fight illness and his little body will be recovering from all the vomiting and lack of sleep. I'd say sleep and water for as much of the day as is possible. Throw the routine out the window until he's better.

Go with the flow. If he needs to sleep, let him.
