My 6mo has suddenly lost interest in his milk the last few days. Last week he was taking between 30-38oz in 24 hours and yesterday it was a struggle to manage 29. Today at 6pm we’ve only managed 17oz. He’s much more interested in food now. Today he had some porridge for breakfast, some Ella’s kitchen puff snacks for lunch and pesto pasta for dinner. They’re nothing more than a few teaspoons worth but I’m worried he’s going to be so hungry? He’s taking his biggest bottles (without fuss) when he’s most tired/during a dream feed. We think he’s also going through a bad teething stage.
Is this normal? Should I be preserving with milk more? How much should he getting and what’s the balance of milk and food at this age? He’s not crying for a bottle but he definitely seems fussier and outright refuses to take it after even an ounce.
