Baby rash

Hi all,

my 3 week old has developed this rash it seems to be getting worse we are going to take him to the doctors but was wondering if anyone knows what this rash is? It is on his inner leg I thought nappy rash but looked different to pictures I’ve seen online ?

I can't figure out where it is on his leg, but could it be chaffing? Any buttons etc on his clothes there? Is he well in himself, feeding okay?

It’s at the top of the inside of his leg he also has a couple smaller ones on his waistline no buttons or anything and yeah he’s feeding fine ect just never seen this sort of a rash my other child never had one like this
